Quest for Eldorado games have been produced in multiple facilities. It is possible that the cards of this expansion and those of your base game are not exactly same material and the terrain tile colors might deviate from the base game's tiles. The small differences should not lower your gaming experience, but if in doubt, we recommend to sleeve all cards of the game (Sleevy M ). Quest for Eldorado is in it's core a deck building game where some cards are used more and some cards less. Due to this, protecting your cards is highly recommendable anyway. Quest for Eldorado is also published by multiple publishers. Lautapelit.fi edition is referred as "Dutrait version" after the artist who made the artwork. After our edition, other publishers have come out with Dutrait versions too, but at least one of these editions come with different card size. Before buying the expansions, please make sure your base game is either Lautapelit.fi edition, or comes with same card size. An expansion for Quest for Eldorado.
You are a group of daring adventurers who embark on a search for the lost city. As you advance deeper into the unknown, you encounter mysterious valleys of mist and fog, where you are never sure what awaits you. You also meet dangerous dragons delaying your progress. But where there are dragons, there are also treasures which you can pick up along your way. Whoever collects four treasures or crosses the border into the golden city first wins the game..
This box contains three modules, which can be played separately or together:
- Dragons adds dragons, which can be moved by the players themselves and cause players in their vicinity to hide.
- Treasures adds treasure tokens, which can be lifted by playing cards or by using a metal detector.
- Mysteries adds face down valley tiles, which will be revealed when a player is standing next to it.
The expansion can only be played in combination with the base game QUEST FOR EL DORADO. You can play these modules together with the expansions Heroes & Hexes and Dangers & Muisca.
